Update/Important Information
Change in the Electronic Communication Devices Use Policy:
The Board of Education adopted a new electronics use policy, BP 5131.2. This policy states that all electronic communication devices must be turned off and out of sight during the school day. If a student chooses to violate these terms, the consequences will be as follows:
1st Consequence: Warning reminder regarding permitted use. Device confiscated for the remainder of the day.
2nd Consequence: Parent contact written warning; detention, and device will be confiscated for the remainder of the day.
3rd Consequence: Suspension. Student not permitted to bring device on campus for the next 30 days.
4th Consequence: Suspension. Student not permitted to bring device on campus for the remainder of the school year.
* This is a progressive policy as it does not start anew with each semester.*
The school assumes NO liability for the disappearance of/or damage to such items.
Skateboards, Scooters, and Bicycles:
This is a reminder that skateboards are not permitted on campus. We do not have skateboard lockers or a way to safely store these items.
Scooters, which can be safety secured in our bike cage, are permitted on campus. If a scooter cannot be locked in our bike cage, it is not permitted on our campus.
We strongly encourage all students to follow the helmet laws and watch for traffic. We expect all students to walk their bicycles and scooters when on school grounds.
Skateboards, scooters, and bicycles are not to be stored in classrooms or the office.
